Journal Writing

After students visited the library today, they went back to their classrooms to add to their science journals what they observed. Many students drew pictures of what should be happening inside the eggs on Day 8. Others made sure to take careful notes about what they observed during the candling process.

 

 

 

 

 

I know our students are counting down the days until Hatching Day! We were able to see movement in 5 of our 12 eggs today. Students will be back in the library next Friday to candle the eggs one more time. At that time students will help determine which eggs are not developing. Mrs. Dossey marked the eggs we were unsure about today with a question mark.
